B Spot Burger I don't know why you are getting such mixed reviews on Yelp. I'm not sure what the other Yelpers are looking for, but I was just looking for a better than average burger - and that's what I got. I'm already a fan of Michael Symon and his Roast burger so I figured... these have gotta be good.

During my college years I spent many of afternoons and evenings at Sidetracks. This is an Ypsi-local favorite. I instantly fell in love with their burgers and sweet potato fries which come with a tangy aioli. For some reason, every time I go I have to get the fried pickles which come in spears and not chips. These somehow make my experience. If I'm not in the burger mood my next go to sandwich is the turkey ruben.
The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating that can accommodate quite a bit of people. It's a very rustic interior playing on the old school train station almost general store type feel of the days of yesteryear. Frenchies is a sliver space connected to it which is mostly for drinks and small parties. I think I'll always love this place. They used to have 3 dollar Wood Chuck ciders on their happy hour in glasses as big as your head. I was loving on those ... a little bit too much. Good times! :) Stop in a get a good beer. As you move toward Ann Arbor, you will find that Bud and Miller start disappearing and the big boy drinks come out to play. Sidetrack's Website Corktown is poppin' with new hip restaurants. I'm glad that we now have another option with Slows BBQ is full or when you want a good greasy burger. Mercury burger bar caters to your burger needs. Do a little pre-gaming and get a burger and a beer in Corktown. There are 16 burger options, 10 sandwich options, AND 5 hot dog options. Yes. It's a classic Detroit restaurant with all the goodies. Let me tell you about my favorite part, they have EIGHT different french fry options. That seals the deal for me. Keep it comin' MBB! You'll have some competition soon enough because Corktown is getting to be the hip new area for the local hipsters. Mercury Burger Bar Website Prontos is one of those places that you stop in every once in awhile. I think they are very consistent in their service and food. I will say the Dutch sandwich (pictured to the left) is my favorite. Usually I get it with fries. They have a ridiculous amount of sandwich options. I'm sure that anyone can find a sandwich they like. I feel it's impossible to NOT find a sandwich you like. I personally LOVE the roasted garlic appetizer. Make sure not to breathe on anyone after! It's oven roasted garlic, chevre cheese, roasted red peppers on crostinis. Sooooo good. The cranberry apple chicken quesadillas are awesome as well as their loaded chili and baked potatoes. I always love this place when I stop in. The last time I was there was with three friends and one of which had some bad news recently given to her. She is a strong woman and is fighting the good fight! Every time I think about Prontos I think about that one perfect lunch we all had. We were all happy and healthy. I'd like to remember that moment and I'm glad that Prontos reminds me of that day every time I see it. That's what I love about going out to eat. I love the conversation with good friends. It's really what it's all about isn't it? Good conversation. Good food. And good friends. :) Prontos Website I think the only reason I'd go back to Basement Burger Bar would be for the Karaoke night. They do have a ridiculous amount of toppings to choose from. It's a checklist system like Bagger Daves, but they let you put on onion rings AND cheese sticks! I mean... how rad is that? I, of course, got the cheese sticks and the onion rings to put on. Go big or go home. It's a lot of food.
