Crabpot - Seattle, Washington

I really can’t dream up a better meal than this in my dreams. An entire pot full of spicy crab legs, shrimp, potatoes and sausage served with butter as a dipper. Yes, this may sound like Joe’s Crab Shack, but Crab Pot is in Seattle and it’s as fresh as you can get. Also, it’s not a chain. The food, while a pricy meal, is completely worth it and not ridiculous for how much food you get. I ate here on vacation a few years ago and I remember bibs, being elbow deep in a messy meal, and LOTS of happiness as I dug in. The shrimp friends had eyes and legs (the first I ever encountered like this, but not the last- because they’re DELICIOUSLY fresh!) and the King crab started an obsession. In my hometown and on vacation I’d always look for the perfect crab, but none of them tasted quite like Crab Pot.  If it weren’t ridiculous to fly across the country just for a meal, I’d do it here- but instead I’ll have to plan a vacation around this place soon. I HEART CRUSTACEONS!
