Zehnders - Frankenmuth, Michigan

If you haven't been to Zehnders then you really haven't even lived your life... or really had a childhood. :)  This is one of those things that you do if you live in Michigan.  It's honestly the only reason to go to Frankenmuth (sorry Frankenmuth residents. No offense). 

It's about 19 bucks to have a full fried chicken dinner meal.  That includes: soup, breads and pate spreads, cole slaw, dressing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, butter noodles, cottage cheese, cranberries, and dessert.  Oh yes, and of course as much fried chicken as you can stomach.  Zehnders has that salty crisp outer skin that makes it taste fresh.  They have their own spice mix that makes their taste a trademark. You can pick some up in the store or if you feel your chicken needs more of it then you can sprinkle it on at your table.  

If you're coming to eat here try to reserve the cow path room.  It's more private and roomy for you and your friends.  The other areas are more like banquet rooms that are packed with people and are very loud.  Make sure to bring your appetite!
