Dennys is the place you go to study during college, the place you go with your date in the wee hours of the morning when you just aren't quite ready to go home, the place where you fill your hunger for breakfast, and the place where you get good chicken noodle soup.  

The soup is more like a stew (if it's still the same).  It's more thick than brothy.  Since Tim Horton's discontinued their chicken stew there has been a quest for a new chicken noodle soup.  Cracker Barrel is the winner.   They have the best soup, but it's kind of not fair because they top it with homemade croutons.   Dennys doesn't have that going on.   BUT Cracker Barrel only serves the soup... whenever they feel like it.  So, when you have a craving for soup, you go to Dennys.  They serve it 7 days a week!  Yay!

Other besties here the club sandwich, seasoned fries, the grand slam (of course), and any of their fried appetizers. It's just one of those old school places you grew up with. 

Now, I don't mind going because I do like Dennys, but geez are they expensive. I can't justify paying the prices for Dennys when I can go to Maes and have an amazing breakfast or lunch club.
