Sweet Lorraines - Southfield, Michigan

Sweet Lorraines is one of those places that you don't want to like, but you do anyway.  It's expensive and you think, "well, I'm not going there..." and then they shoot you that email coupon deal for buy one entree get one free.  Then you find yourself planning around going there with your coupon and walk out of there spending more money than you thought you would.  You then instantly remember all of those other time you felt the same way.  

It's a good decent place, but I wouldn't go there without the coupon.  When I was eating bread I remember really liking the bread and cornbread with their house-made marinara they serve before the meal.  I'm a fan of their fish and chips.  You get a A LOT.  The tarter sauce has a little peppery zest to it that makes it a little bit different than everyone else's fish and chips.  Honorable mention go to the crab cake BLT sandwich.  I have had other entrees there, but I always leave thinking... that was pretty good.  That's about it.
