During my college years I spent many of afternoons and evenings at Sidetracks. This is an Ypsi-local favorite. I instantly fell in love with their burgers and sweet potato fries which come with a tangy aioli. For some reason, every time I go I have to get the fried pickles which come in spears and not chips. These somehow make my experience. If I'm not in the burger mood my next go to sandwich is the turkey ruben.
The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating that can accommodate quite a bit of people. It's a very rustic interior playing on the old school train station almost general store type feel of the days of yesteryear. Frenchies is a sliver space connected to it which is mostly for drinks and small parties. I think I'll always love this place. They used to have 3 dollar Wood Chuck ciders on their happy hour in glasses as big as your head. I was loving on those ... a little bit too much. Good times! :) Stop in a get a good beer. As you move toward Ann Arbor, you will find that Bud and Miller start disappearing and the big boy drinks come out to play. Sidetrack's Website
