On any given "breakfast time" day you will see this place swarming with fun and friendly breakfast lovers.  One of the best breakfast places in the Mad Heights, The Breakfast Club, offers a wide variety of gourmet B'fast options.
Even though there are tons of new breakfast and brunch restaurants popping up all over the Metro-Detroit area this one has been around for quite a bit of time.  Opening their first restaurant in Clawson, MI with just 8 tables, they moved to Madison Heights and then opened another in Commerce.  They continue to offer quality food to it's clientele.  When you walk into the B'fast Club you never feel like just a 'client'.  Like walking into grandma's house, you get a warm nostalgic feeling and a welcoming smile.  If they weren't complete strangers I would almost give them a hug, it feels so friendly.
The first time I came to the B'fast Club it was very busy.  So busy in fact my friend and I had to sit at the community round table.  We sat with two other groups.  This is the charm of this place, that you get to 'rub elbows' with anyone that walks through the door.  It was an interesting experience to see what people ordered, listen to people's stories, and watch the dynamics between everyone all while sharing a meal together with strangers.  Pretty cool.

Now, for the food.  If you are lucky enough to walk in during the mushroom roulade special then you should get it.  Don't think about it.  Get it.  Otherwise you'll have deep deep food regrets when you see someone else order it.  The breakfast bowls are great.  The omelettes are great.  They have gluten-free bread, french toast, and pancakes too!  Another gluten-free haven for the gluten-free kids.  To be honest (tbh), you'll be hard-pressed to find something that is NOT good.
Also, when I was there they were serving up cronuts.  That's right ladies and gentlemen, I said it, cronuts.  A donut plus a croissant.  It's the new craaaaze. Next time you're at the Breakfast Club ask them how big their cronuts are.  That apparently is a perfectly acceptable thing to say now.  :)  Shelf life on those bad boys aren't very long so get 'em while they're hot!
