Hands down one of my favorite Asian-Mexican restaurants. Not only is everything fresh, but the flavors the chef gets are simply amazing. What's cool about this place is that it's an Asian - Latin Taqueria. Say whaaaat? Yes, that's right, they serve Latin and Asian food. This restaurant is a coming together or two cultures. It's a pretty neat idea and one that's working.
"My father is Cuban and my mother half Chinese and half Nicaraguan. At the age of seven I was adopted by my American father and was raised in Tampa, Florida. Georgina’s is named after my cousin Georgina Alvarez, the person who saved my life when I was young, who gave me hope, who believed in me and prayed for me. This is my thanks." That's a pretty cool reason to start up a sweet restaurant. Just so you know...the restaurant is really small. So plan on coming during an off peak time. When you walk in you will be greeted by the chef. There are so many things that sound good on the menu. If you have a hard time making a decision ask for recommendations. They are more than happy to assist you. If you have not been yet then make a plan to go. I can't fully capture in words just how good this place was. Georgina's Website
