First and best double fried Korean chicken for me. Their soy garlic is a must! It beats out Seoul Street in Ann Arbor for best chicken. Please be aware that this isn’t KFC: If you want fast chicken, call ahead and order. It takes around 25-30 minutes because it’s made fresh for you when you order, and is double fried. It’s worth the wait! Hot, juicy, moist meat… and you’ll be shocked at the size of those drums. I love it spicy, but skip their spicy wings and add spicy sauce to their soy garlic flavor, which is phenomenal and bold. The other YES food is the kimchi fries. I’ve always wanted to like kimchi, but never really got into it- before these fries, which also have a spicy drizzle of yum on top. You want to go here soon, because you’ll really want this tiny place on Catalpa in Royal Oak to succeed- they took a big chance and they deserve some props for unique food.

My Marks Carts Fave. They specialize in "hand-rolled and steamed buns, filled with yummy homemade meat, mushroom or tofu. Each bun comes with its own tailored sauces and/or pickled veggies. Slider sized." Their Banh Mi sandwiches are worth making a mid-afternoon stop to try them out. I like them hot and spicy! I am going to be lazy and not rotate these images. It just takes too long and if you tilt your head you'll get the idea. :) I won't do this for the rest of my posts. I promise.
San Street's Website Little Tree gets so much play. Everyone in Royal Oak likes Little Tree. I am starting to think it's because this is all they know. I wouldn't say Little Tree is baaaaad. I also wouldn't say they are the best I have ever had. Serving up sushi, Japanese, and Thai fusion food they are on the corner of main street catering to the locals who want more than a burger.
The one dish I like is the pad thai. But I just came back from Thailand so I am not sure I will still like it the same. Tough to live up to pad thai that's made in Thailand... Thailand ruined me. Since I ate so much delicious food in Italy, I hardly even eat it here in the states because I am always disappointed. Little Tree's Website Random travels to Canada for food. What is this place called? I don't remember. What did we all order? I have no clue. But here is a photo. Enjoy! :)
